Homes by Texas Architects
Frio Cañon is a second-home community of cottages and riverfront homes that reflect a deep appreciation of true craftsmanship, antique materials and fine architectural detailing. Each site plan — the way individual homes are situated in relation to the land and water of the Texas Hill Country — is designed to ensure that community members fully delight in the area’s majestic vistas, soothing river breeze, and the calming sounds that nature provides.
In developing his architectural vision, Dalgleish found inspiration in the sophisticated simplicity of the Cotswald villages in west-central England; the elegant casitas at The Royal Palms, Phoenix, AZ; the serene hideaways at the San Ysidro Ranch, Santa Barbara, CA; and the gardens at the Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles, CA.
Cottage and home plan galleries follow. A plat map and pricing information for this waterfront property is available here.

The Casitas are luxury vacation homes situated throughout the Texas Hill Country community’s wilderness preserve. Arrangements of up to three structures on each home site offer a variety of configurations for entertaining and relaxing.

Several award-winning Texas architects have created original
designs for Frio Cañon that range from traditional to
contemporary hill country homes. The homes share an emphasis
on craftsmanship, places to entertain and relax, and respect
for the surrounding natural environment.
