From Austin (approximately 175 miles):
- Take US-290 W 27.9 miles past Fredericksburg
- Turn left onto RR 479 just past Harper
- Merge onto I-10 W
- Take the next exit 'Mountain Home/Rocksprings'
- Turn left onto TX-41
- Turn left onto US-83
- Frio Canon is 22 miles on the East (left) side of the US-83
From San Antonio (approximately 102 miles):
- Take I-10 W and 78.7 miles to the Mountain Home/Rocksprings exit
- Turn left onto TX-41
- Turn left onto US-83
- Frio Canon development is 22 miles on the East side of the US-83
