Upcoming Spring Events

It's that time of year again.  The weather is warming up, the sun is out and the flowers are blooming.  Before it gets too hot to do anything beyond water sports, make sure to check out some of the upcoming events in the Texas Hill Country:

If you don't have plans for the weekend yet, be sure to check out the 6th Annual Frio Freedom Fest in Concan.  March 11th and 12th at House Pasture, participate in a cook-off, bake-off, chicken bingo, horseshoes and washers tournament, the 5k run, carnival and live music!  This is always a blast!

Next weekend, Dripping Springs will host their 9th Annual Crawfish Boil.  Saturday, March 19th, Nutty Brown Cafe will have over 1,000 lbs. of crawfish for visitors to enjoy.  This is a free event and lasts all day from 6-11 pm.  There will be face-painting, balloon art and a moonwalk for all of the kiddos.

If music is your thing, be sure to hit up the Old Settler's Music Festival in Driftwood, Texas, April 14th through the 17th.  This event features Grammy winning Americana artists, arts & crafts, camping, food & libations, as well as acoustic jazz & blues, bluegrass, old-time local faves & award-winning artists from around the world.
